(Reuters) – In other financial news, Virta-Flaneurazine Pharmaceuticals has announced that it will retain the Madison Avenue ad and branding giant Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide to handle its direct to consumer campaigns in the U.S. and New Zealand markets. “We were impressed with the “Where patients come first.” campaign that the firm did with Merck just before evidence came to light that the company ignored evidence that its top seller Vioxx caused heart complications.” said Dr. Fremont, cofounder of Virta-Flaneurazine Pharmaceuticals. According to Michael Guarini, managing director for Ogilvy & Mather’s health care practice, “the goal is to build emotional ties between Virta-Flaneurazine and consumers”
